We make an URGENT call to ensure the survival of the Endangered Eagle
Thanks to the collaboration of all the people who participated in the first crowdfunding for the legal dispute against the modification of the POUM, we have been able to achieve this milestone. Unfortunately, following that first action, the City Council signed an agreement with the promoting company (UNPASMES, SL), bypassing the mandatory requirements set by the Fauna and Flora Service. This forces us to continue the legal fight.
For this reason, StopAgroparc, in collaboration with Naturalists of Gelida, has launched this new Crowdfunding to defend the survival of the Bonelli's Eagle.
The Agroparc project of Ametller Origen in Gelida represents a risk of irreversible destruction of the eagle's essential habitat. The macroproject completely overlaps with the critical hunting and resting area of this pair of eagles, a circumstance that the technicians of the Fauna and Flora Service of the Generalitat of Catalonia have already defined as the "death sentence" for the species in the area.
The Urgent Legal Battle
Your collaboration is very important to ensure that justice is served in time. The legal battle currently has two open fronts:
- An administrative contentious appeal against the Urban Planning Agreement that authorises the start of works without protecting the eagles.
- The complaint to the Environmental Prosecutor.
This legal action is fundamental because the developer has resumed massive earth movements (a volume equivalent to 290 Olympic swimming pools) within the critical area (Kernel 80%), blatantly ignoring and disobeying a prior precautionary order from the judge. This campaign is the continuation and expansion of the administrative contentious case filed in the TSJC against the approval of the modification of the planning (thanks again for your support!!).

- In Favour of: THE NATURALISTS ASSOCIATION OF GELIDA.
- Operating Model: The crowdfunding campaign uses the "every little helps" model from migranodearena. This means that the funds raised reach the Naturalists Association of Gelida month by month, regardless of whether the total fundraising goal is achieved.

Your contribution has tax benefits of up to 80%.
For the purposes of personal income tax (IRPF), the tax deduction works as follows for Individuals:
- The first €250of donation entitles you to a deduction of 80%.
- From €250 onwards, you are entitled to a deduction of at least 40%.
